U.S. Organizations Create Blueprint for Reproductive Rights

More than 70 U.S. organizations have come together to create a Blueprint for Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights and Justice, a first of its kind. The 100-page document works to advance basic sexual and reproductive rights not just for women in this country, but for women globally.

The blueprint’s policy goals include access to quality sexual and reproductive healthcare for all people at little to no cost, access to abortion care and protections against providers religious beliefs preventing care, and a global response to the HIV/AIDS crisis among other goals.

The document lays out its grounded belief that all individuals, no matter who they are, how much money they have or where they are from, have the right to sexual and reproductive autonomy.

Organizations including Physicians for Reproductive Health, Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda, AIDS Alliance for Women and the Center for Reproductive Rights are just a few of the organizations to contribute to the blueprint.
